If your cramps are really bad, talk to your gyn about it. There may be some help for you.

Yes, it is perfectly fine just as long as you do not abuse the medicine. I personally take an anti-inflammatory medicine called Naproxen for my menstrual cramps and I take them whenever my menstruation comes around.

I take ibprofin, that's an OTC anti-inflammation and pain relever it's great for cramps, also headaches too.
