Percy is amazing, but he's a WR who rushes often. Tim Tebow will be a great QB at Florida and I wouldn't be surprised if I see them lobbying for another national title appearance in the next 2-3 seasons. But Percy being Reggie? No. Not at all. I love the Gators though

I don't think he's there. Reggie Bush is not just fast. He can actually carry the ball 20 times a game and then make 2-3 catches out of the back field. I don't know that Percy Harvin has that kind of strength and durability, nor have I seen the type of explosive speed that Reggie Bush had. Don't get me wrong, Percy Harvin is damn good, but he's not explosive like Reggie Bush and I'm not convinced that he's a legitemate threat in the backfield. He's kind of small. But very talented nonetheless. Reggie Bush is like the reincarnation of Eric Dickerson and that puts him in a class all its own.

Tim Tebow still needs to prove his ability to throw the ball to me. He's proven he can make plays with his legs, but I need to see what he can do behind center for a whole game and then a whole season. I think he's got potential to be pretty good. He's definitely got the size and competitve spirit needed to compete in the NFL. All he needs is a little seasoning.

Tim Tebow has showed me nothing. So he is a big strong guy that can rush up the middle and fall forward for 3-4 yrds, he did nothing amazing in the game. Any big guy can do that. Percy Harvin had no more rushing yards than Antonio Pittman for Ohio State. Oh yeah one more thing, for all you Gators fans who think your team was disrespected before the game, no one talks more smack or starts more fights than florida teams. The Gators players are showing no class at all with their postgame comments to any reporter who will listen. If you win a game against a top notch team or any team you don't trash the other team afterwards. But then I shouldn't be surprised.

Well, Percy is capable of being better than bush but he is a wide receiver first and foremost. But, potential doesn't mean anything ex. Lawrence Phillips. But i honestly think that Tebow is completely overrated. He's just a fullback running the football and all his touchdowns have come off the sheer novelty of him actually throwing the ball. Once he's the full time starter, that will take away that edge. It's like Darren McFadden. He has thrown several touchdown passes but that doesn't mean he could be a every down QB. But at least McFadden is the leading Heisman candidates.

Jono,

First, I can see why many are disagreeing with you.

Second, they are so new at the college level that they haven't had a chance to show anything that warrants comparison to other great athletes.

Percy Harvin has a lot of potential.

Tim Tebow broke EVERY H.S. passing record in the state of Florida (some had been held for many years), thus he has a lot of potential.

BUT, it's too early to tell.

Before you start saying that, let them get out there more. Tebow has only been in primarily for b draws and hasn't realyy been proven as a passer. Harvin has the possibility to be like reggie, give him a year or two more before jumping on the band wagon

I'll agree that this may be the worst question I've ever seen on here. I'm sure I'll get seconds on that. Do this for me, look at Tim Tebow's THROWING stats, and then, start watching other college football running backs before you make comparisons. I'm willing to bet that you watch your Gators play on Saturdays, and then turn on Lifetime or something cause this question should be deleted.

I'll say this.....Percy is very talented.....and Tim is a heck of a quarterback...I'm just glad Chris got his chance to shine and silence even our own fans who criticized him thoughout the season (mainly fans that never went to the school) but anyway We STOMPED Ohio State and it was FUN!!! We had sooo many people out here talking smack about the Gators but the next day.....SILENCE!!!! No one even gave us a chance. Shocked the world!!!! Go Gators!!!!!!!!!!

Players can be better or worse than Bush, but they'll never be another Reggie Bush.

I don't agree, not yet anyway, he's only a freshman. Wait a couple years. Same with Tebow. I've only seen him pass on trick plays. Wait two years. Then I'll answer you.
