Apparently.

By the way, he's not a dictator. He's the "decider". I'm not entirely sure if there's a difference.

You just set yourself up on that one.

I am very aware of what a DICTATOR is...I can even name one...Saddam Hussein.

So, obviously, you are trying to make the point that we would not like to be ruled by a dictator...so, why should the Iraqi's have been ruled by one?

Bush is not a dictator, obviously, the people voted for him, and if we really, really wanted, we could kick him out of office. Or at the very least, put up with him til 2008, and elect someone else. That is nothing like a dictator. Why don't you live in a dictatorship for awhile and see if you REALLY think our pres. is a dictator?

Again...you have only proved MY point that the people in Iraq needed help overcoming Saddam.

The fact that you are allowed to post a question like this...and people are allowed to answer with things like "Bush is a moron." etc. only proves that this is a country FAR from being ruled by a dictator...

Do you even know how to correctly articulate words? "Do you people…" You make me and all levelheaded America sick!

A dictator is a leader who rules a country with absolute power, usually by force. There is only one problem with that. Dictators, all throughout history have made hostile takeovers of their nations; examples include Stalin, Hitler, Hussein, Mussolini, Kim Jong Ill, and many more. What do they have in common? To begin with, they oppressed their rival party to the point that the party couldn't even run for elections, Stalin had his rivals executed, as did Hussein, as did all the previously listed tyrants. And I don’t know if you have noticed, but who took control of both houses? EXACTLY!

Secondly, the dictators of past and present rule with an iron fist! Bush doesn't even want to tax you, while the Democrats do! Bush doesn't even control his country! He was elected on a popular vote of the people! He is bound by a (now blue) House of Representatives, Supreme Court, and Legislature to act in a constitutional way, even if he wanted to be a dictator, he couldn't! Here in America we have what are called checks and balances! They make sure that the president can't become a dictator, and they do so because our founding fathers (who would spit in your face) prepared for this! They ensured that no tyrant would ever rise to power again!

When you say things like that you make yourself look not only indescribably stupid, but also flat out ignorant! Study the constitution, study the law of the land, and think twice before you say idiotic things like that again!

The Dictator was removed from power in Iraq. I'm not ruled by a dictator; I live in the USA under the direction of our leader - President George W. Bush.

Bush is not a dictator. The fact of the matter is he is an elected offical whos power is resricted by a congress, senate, and supream court. He has a limited term as president and he is only doing what he feels is best for the US. While I'm not saying that he's right or wrong in his choices I am saying that he isn't a dicator, lots of leaders make hard choices, good ones chose the right soultuion.

President Bush is not a dictator. He is doing his best to keep the United States safe from terrorists and having dictators come over and take over our freedom.

I know what it means. Do you? I know you don't. You just proved by your question you don't. President Bush was ELECTED by the controlling power, which is the citizen's of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA. He is our LEADER, and has the RIGHT to make decisions, we ELECTED him to DO. Thank you. Even if you STILL don't understand American government, voting, democracy, or Republic's, I hope this gave you a little help, but you really should go back to school.

Ummmm. Bush isn't a dictator - he's the president of a free country - get a grip on reality. I guess the brainwashing tactics of the liberals took over your brain, too. Bush didn't kill anyone - Hussein tortured and killed thousands and thousands of people! Get the picture?
