Just spitballin' and using the calculator
99 years x 365 days x 8 hours = 289080 hours
Then assuming every 4 years is a leap year is 24.75 days.
24.75 days x 8 hours= 198 hours
289080 + 198=289278 hours of sleep

Since 8 hours is one third of the day, then your example 99 year old person has spent 33 years asleep.
33 years x 365.25 days per year (leap year factored in) x 24 hours a day = 289278 hours.
Or approximately 1,000,000,000 seconds.
Another related fact would be that you could pick up a twenty dollar bill off the street every second for your entire waking life (assuming an average lifespan of 75 years) and only make a 0.3% dent in the national debt.
($31,557,600,000 divided by $8,711,267,743,042.)

In 99 years there are 24 leap years
24 * 366 * 8 = 70272
The rest of the year, 75 * 365 * 8 = 219000
In total you get 289,272 hours of sleep.

PEOPLE... Too much math...
8 hours is 1/3 of a day!
therefor if someone lives exactly 99 years and sleeps 8 hours a day (or 1/3 of the day) they sleep for 33 years.

If you mean from day one through year 99, that
would be 365 days a year x 8hrs a day=2,920 hrs. in a yr. x 99 yrs. = 289,080. hrs of sleep. divided by 24hrs = 12,045 days of sleep. divided by 365days (yr) = 33 yrs of sleep.
