I've had this on and off pain *on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the worst, its like at a 4 maybe.* And...I've had it since like December 15th or so. It doesn't hurt bad enough to have to take pain meds. I've never been sexually active. I'm 24.

It could be an ovarian cyst forming or something called middleschmertz. Keep track of when the pain happens and how close to your period it is. Middleschmertz is often described as pain on the side of the abdomen. As early as 14 days before your period. Basically middleschmertz is pain during ovulation. An ovarian cyst could also be the case, generally these cause little pain or no pain, unless they rupture which in that case, the pain is very severe and often accompanied by vomiting and fever. Keep a look out for any other symptoms and see how close you get these symptoms to your period. It would hurt to see your doctor and get an ultrasound of your abdomen to see if there is anything serious going on.

Well, it says on Wikipedia that "the appendix is located at the lower right quadrant of the abdomen. In people with situs inversus, the appendix may be located in the lower left side" (Vermiform 1). Check with your doctor; I don't want to freak you out or anything, but you may have appendicitis.

so it's a dull pain? generally if it occurs off and on every other month i would say that you are ovulating and you can just feel it. if it is more constant like everymonth you will want to go to the gyno for tests, it could be fibromyalsia, bleading of the ovarys. this can cause severe pain but just to be safe you'll wanna know !

i would say maybe ovulating or bowels. NOT APPENDICITIS
