It's fun and flirty and nothings going to come of it except fun. When he found out how old I was, he stopped writing. How can anyone be so small minded as to rule out a friendship?

It really depends on the ages. Some people are funny about that stuff. If a Man is 50 and e-mailing a women that is 30 he may think that when he was 30 she was only 10. That could have creeped him out. Or maybe he wanted more than flirting and found out you did not.

You didn't mention how old you were.
But it doesn't matter much I suppose. You have to remember that him being younger than you also means more immature than you, so he probably doesn't have the maturity level needed to not be small minded, and understand that some times friendships can just be friendships.
You'll do much better with people closer to your own age, with out such a difference in maturity levels.

First how old are you and why would you want to be in contact with someone haft your age? He stopped e-mailing you because 20/20 has a show about older men e-mailing under age children like yourself. Behave yourself and stick to boys your own age!

He might of thought you were a petifile like I wouldn't really want to talk to guys that are double my age I mean its hard to trust someone on the internet and he was just watching out for himself

He probably thought you were the same age; and he somehow felt deceitful. You should have told him the first time you started this relationship.
Find someone your age; it would be more appropriate.

are you 50 and he is 25? or
are you 20 and he is 10?
think about it..
Either way it is creepy and disgusting...........

You failed to mention your age, if you are underage, and he isn't-then I can understand why he has stopped talking to you. However if you are both adults, then age is only a number.
