Yes but it hides your feedback comments as well. It will be on account settings. If your a buyer its fine but as a seller it looks like your trying to hide something about what your selling as instead of your feedback it says 'private'. I agree though why should people go through our shopping freely. Get that changed ebay.

You can become a private member
then people cant see anyhting except ur feedback score
but sellers trust u less i think
