I feel that he is wrong and has a killing heart (if any) but if he wants 20,000- 24,000 more men and women then he should go to all the prisons in every state and get the lifers and take them to Iraq..that would save billions of dollars for all the states ( housing, food, clothes, etc)

His frequent mention of Iran is making me nervous. I think he's easily crazy enough to start another war. Other than that, now it's official that Bush has decided to ignore the opposition to the escalation a.k.a."surge" idea by the majority of military commanders, troops, American voters, etc. What a "shock".

I think the speech was very good. However I would have to say that Bush is being far too easy on the enemy. I would take a far more aggressive stance. That way the enemy would be defeated more quickly.
