My favorite is The Shocker(Spider-Man villain). I like him because he isn't a murdering psychopath or a would be world conquering megalomaniac, he's just A crook(albeit a really powerful one), and there aren't a lot of comic book villains you can say that about.

My personal favorite is Deathstroke the Terminator.

Slade Wilson, is like an evil angry Batman (When he at Batman fought they stalemated). He is a master tactition, has nearperfect reflexes, and always has a plan. He uses 90% of his brain's potential.... he out thinks his opponent long before they ever throw a punch or use their powers. Add to that he has enhanced strength and speed, and you have a great (if under apreaciated) villian.

He fought and bested the Flash (Stabbed him in the chest by forcing him to run in a predetermined path), Zatanna (punched her in the liver causing uncontroled vomiting), Hawkman (Cut his wing harness off then sent the Atom crashing into him), Green Arrow (Sliced the ends of his arrows off), Black Canary (Put a gag mask over her head and hand cuffed her hands behind her back), the Atom (Hit him with the beam of a laser pointer while atomic sized and sent him crashing into Hawkman), and nearly took control of the ring worn by Green Lantern (Broke the kid's hand and nearly overpowered his will). Show me another Villian who has done something like that! (An oft debated fight but still....)

I say whomever interests me the most. I love a villain that can be unexpected whenever he/she appears, but I seriously like the Riddler because his personality is very sarcastic and I love how he uses riddles like a mad serial killer, but I also have other favorites too. I say whoever seems the most dangerously clever, there is no competition for me for who is the best whatever unless if something has the potential of being the best whatever.

my favorite has always been Ra's al Ghul he is such a complicating character that always seems to make you think about the line between good and bad the joker is another good answer but he is almost to simple but i would say batman probably has the best villains although marvel dominates with the cooler villains doom magneto and so on

Seriously? It would have to be The Joker. He's a villian in an evil insane way.

Victor Von Doom from Fantastic 4 or Lex Luthor from Superman. It's a toss up.

I have to agree, the Joker is the best by far. Not only is he completly evil but he takes such joy in it. That is what makes him scary.

Ras Al Ghul since he can go toe to toe mentally and physically with Batman. And his daughters are hot.

Ras Al Gul
I believe he is one of the better and more originally developped characters in comicbooks
