i am trying to find a free search of unclamied money but everytime i click on it they charge you to find out?

What state do you want to search in? In WA state the Dept of Revenue has a site. Each state has a site, that is free, do a google with your state and "unclaimed property" then search through the listed sites for the one that is actually maintained from your state (usually has a .gov or .org ending).

And yes, stay away from the charge sites. You NEVER have to pay to find or claim any property held for you by the state.
