i was scared to jump off the back of a boat! here's what may help. inhale through your nose and exhale your your mouth three times. and when you inhale, rise to your tippy toes. when you exhale, lower to your feet. and then go fot it

Just run off the platform, from there you can just go to the edge and arch yourself to a dive into the water.

well start at the side of the pool. First just lean your head forward and just have your head go down first. don't even jump just fall and have your head go in first. Then as you get better and practice more work on jumping and having your arms out in front of you. Your arms should squeeze the sides of your head. Then just keep practcing...

1-before diving think of what kind of dive your going to make
2-when on the dive don't look down
3-jump up as much as you can
4-while on the air be flexible and move your hands and arms toward the water
5-be careful not to bend your legs

Yea, trying diving off the 3-5 foot water, where you know you can stand up if you screw up the dive and work your way up to the big board.

Conquer it. That's all I can think of. That's what I do. If your scared of it just jump of the edge force yourself off, then once you've done it you'll realize that it isn't that bad it's actually fun :D. It looks far down but takes like 1second to hit water :P

i wus so scared when i jumped off platform. but u just have to do it! seriously ur not gonna hurt ur self by just jumping. just remember to point ur feet or elese ur feet will hurt. but i would suggest jumping off 1m then 3m then 5m, then 7m, then 10m or go to the 10m and look off the edge then jump off the 5m then 7m then 10m

stand with one foot on the edge of the pool deck, the other a foot or so back. Lean forward, streamline your arms (point them in an upside down V) and launch yourself forward. try to keep your body straight, because if not you will go to deep down and will take to long to surface (slows you down if you are competitively racing)

Yeah, make yourself do it one time. Just ONCE! You'll see it is a blast and after that it is a piece of cake! Make sure you keep your chin tucked, then close your eyes and go!

dont be scared its just water. what you do is jump straiht down and hold your arms together going head hand first
