Some more situation details would help. But, Yes, suited AK is a good starting hand. Im sure the pokercoach will answer this too and he will agree. Need More Info.

AK suited is usually a hand you would raise with in most positions. Against a raise you can smoothcall and see what happens on the flop.

If you are low on chips in a tournament and nobody has entered the pot yet, AK suited is one of the best hands to go all in with. You are a favorite against any two unpaired cards, a huge favorite against a2-aq, a coinflip against 22-QQ, an underdog against KK, and a huge underdog against AA. But since you have one ace and one king, the odds of an oppenent having AA or KK are diminished greatly, making AK suited one of the best hands to push all in with

What kind of questions is that?, it's a good starting hand,but it depend on the situation: your position?, your opponents?, table image?, chips stack?, for a call?, a re-raise? an all-in?.
