i dont want a one time excuse, i have to have the same one for every friday. for example a weekly event of somesort.

You have to visit your sick grandmother once a week...
All in all, use something that would make your employer feel guilty if you were to work on Friday.

Say you are taking a night class on Friday's. Are there any JC's in your area that offer night classes on Friday's? Do your homework in case some one wants to try and verify your lie.

Your a seventh day adventis to you are a jew. For them the day starts at Sundown and Saturday is their Sabbath. Which starts on Friday at Sundown.
You can't work on your Sabbath!

Tell them you are Seventh Day Adventist or Jewish.
It's religious right infringement for them to make you work from sunset friday to sunset Saturday. EVERY week.

Just tell your boss that you don't want to work on Friday night's and tell him your reason. Alson tell him your willing to move that to a different day.
