I used to have the following on my voicemail back when I was single (many moons ago)...
"Hi, this is Scott and I can't come to the phone right now because I am out with your daughter. But if you leave a message, I promise to not dishonor your family name!"
At the time I worked with a lot of guys the had daughters around college age (I was in my mid 20's) and due to working a lot of off hours, they were the ones that I got calls from most. Most of them loved it... my mother on the other hand... did eventually change it when I began searching for a new job.

Hi this is 'mofun20's refridgerator. The answering machine is busy right now, but if you leave a message i'll stick it to myself with one of these magnets shaped like fruit, and give it to him when he gets back.
