i run everyday and kick a ball around i usually run about a mile a day and do sprints are there any really good excersises that are soccer specific

i play soccer too. i pretty much love it but i think if you want to get better, and in better shape alot of what you are doing is good, and maybe work on running with the ball at your feet, keeping it in your control. i've found that it has helped me with the game more if i'm playing forward, because you know how and how hard to kick the ball to keep it under control. good luck!!

do squarts and ALOT of lunges and inverted lunger. find a good ab workout bc having a strong midsection builds balance and helps you hold people off the ball. run hills also to gain speed and quickness.

i play soccer too and ive found that doing suicides really helps you stay in shape for games. they make you faster while they also work on long distance. good luck!!!

practice footwork, dribbling (bounce ball on left then right foot), try also target shooting both long and close distance to a wall. (So that it reflects back to you)

yeah i run at my school i do sprints, push ups, sit ups,practice dribling the ball, i kick the ball up in the air and then i run after itat full speed so i can practice my traping. then i run up and down the stairs. hope this helps.
