mother ended up on county money father hardly gave money until i was 171/2 yrs old can i get anything from him or the county

No. You have missed the statue of limitations for this matter in all states.

One of your parents would have to ask for child support I think but once you turn 18 you wont be able to get anything. And from 30 years ago its not likely but then again I dont know.

The county is not responsible for you and I doubt that after all these years your father can be held liable. What would the purpose be to go after your father after all these years?

If your mother received welfare for you as a child,then your father owes welfare the money they gave for you.You are an adult now and therefore not entitled to child support.If it was 30 years ago,what is the point?

I really doubt it but, talk your counties child support agency to find out for sure.

yes you can.you are owed back support that they have on record.All you have to do is go in and file the paper work and the county will go after him

if the person is still alive why not....i am sure they can track him down and make him/her pay
