These are silly problems - mixing decimal feet and inches.
convert to common units and add.
1.12 ft is 13.44 inches
add that to 47 ft 11 in getting 47 ft 24.44 inches
the later inches converts to 2 feet so 49 ft 0.44 inches
or you can convert back so it would be 49.0183 feet
convert mixed pounds and ounces to pounds
1 5/7 oz (12/7) divide by 16 to get pounds.0.107142857
3 oz divide by 16 to get pounds 0.1875
add the fractional pounds to the whole 47.295
