i dont really like sketchers but my friend told me that sketchers in new york cost like $150, she also said that those and Champions are the most expensive and popular shoes in NY is she lying or not?

I have no idead about Champions being the most expensie and popular shoes in New York. Sketchers look pretty affordable to me, so I don't know why they would be that expensive in New York.
