1) 25% should be written as .25 when you multiply it by 64
2)40% is .40 or .4 times 200 3 ) 120% is one a whole # and 20% so it would be 1.2 times 35 4) .5% is only a half of one percent so you put a zero before the 5 it becomes .05 times 90 5) .27 times 76.6 6) .65 times 300 7) 1.5 times 84 8) .12 times 15 The problem would be written as :
64
x.25
-------
320
128
--------
16.00 place the decimal point two places to the right as it is seen
above in .25
The alignment of the numbers won't necessarily show up correctly when this is submitted so be sure you move them over to be in order with ones, tens places, etc. in line with each other.

percent means per 100, so 25% is 25 per 100 or 25/100 or 0.25. that said, to change a percent to a decimal, divide by 100 or, more simply, move the decimal 2 places to the left.
next, "of" means multipy in math, so for example, 25% of 64 is the same as (0.25) x (64)= 16.
now do the same thing with the rest of the problems.

multiply the whole number by 0.xx (percentage). So for example, multiply 64 x 0.25 for the answer of 16.
