Make a variety of things to take to the show. The more variety you have, the more interest you will generate. I personally really like the idea of log cabin bird houses. I'd like to see those. Good luck with it.

Any inexpensive craft item would be a good choice. I have made the mistake in the past of displaying my best stuff, and I basically sold nothing. People dont go to craft shows to buy $500 pieces of art (usually). Keep your selection to items that you can batch out at a low cost. And if most of your items are $30 and below, you shoul be in good shape! Good luck.

My sister in law has a lot of positive words in her home, and I really like them. Like LAUGH or SMILE or LIVE. If the wood is wide enough they can sit up by themselves. They are painted in a distressed fashion. I've seen them in stores, and they are usually about $15-20. I would buy one at a craft show. Be creative and don't use the same ones everyone else does. How about GIGGLE or something else you don't often hear. Maybe THINK PINK or THINK BLUE, painted in the appropriate color for expectant parents. Good luck.

You may want to take Easter items, garden stakes. Decoy ducks usually do well to, if that is something you are interested in. Also, you may want to take some small dollar items. At our shows, the lower priced items are always what goes first and often cover our booth rent in case we don't sell a big ticket item.

People like nice crafty bird feeders, maybe try that.
I know I would like to see a well made small potato and onion cupboard, maybe others would like to see the same thing.
Another thing that is appealing is an attractive wall piece to hang keys from.

I think your idea of log cabin birdhouses sounds charming, and unusual. Things that are different and unusual are the things that will sell well.
