i'm damn sure iran is just as much a threat, & has more oil than iraq. what about kuwait? didn't saddam invade them back before the first gulf war because they had more oil?

c'mon dubya, there's still time to make EVERYONE in this country completly hate you. & it's not like you can get the democrats to stop you, they're let you roll over them so they can play the part of the victim-like they always do- infront of the american public!

Because that excuse is just created by liberals to set everyone against the Pres. Obviously, oil is not the issue...but maybe we wouldn't NEED oil from elsewhere if the libs would let us drill in our own country...

I want everyone to sit back and think about what kind of country we live in where we can call our president a moron. Think about the FREEDOM you have. In some countries (probably former Iraq), you'd be killed for that.

Why don't you think that no one is leaving Iraq? Fighting a war on terror isn't done staying in one country and hope the terrorists come to you. You need to find them and take the fight to them. Once the mess in Iraq is finished, and it will be, the US will leave a sizable force in Iraq. This will put the US in an excellent position to stage an attack on Iran. The Bush/Cheney world domination plan is taking just a little longer than they thought.
As far as Kuwait is concerned, the Bush family has holding in oil companies that are drilling in Kuwait. Never fear, he is right on top of it.
the biggest problem with Iran is that there isn't enough collective intelligence in washington to plan an attack on Iran. I don't necessarily mean intelligence in the form of information. But someone who has the skill to plan it.
Bush Sr. had the right idea in the gulf war. Beat them senseless with air strikes, then send in the ground forces for cleanup.
With Iran, I believe that a few well placed bombs would destroy their weapon making capability. Then see what Iran does. Its like when a small child does something you tell him not to. You slap his hand. Then stand back and see if he learns. If not, you slap it again. Same thing. Bomb them and see if they learned.

Because attacking the other countries would be impossible. Iraq was easy. It had a crazy dictator and was already war-torn. America is just one more player in the game. Iran, Kuwait, and other countries are a lot more stable.

Invade Kuwait? The country that they supposedly liberated? Why would that work?

Invade Iran? That country is huge. It's also not torn apart by tons of different factions continually fighting against each other.

Any other country in that region?

He's getting to them pretty soon...his eye is on Iran right now. He's like Hitler, one country at a time and try to get all the other Middle Eastern Oil countries to think that they are on his side before they wake up and see that he will soon find an excuse to invade them after he's got one down at a time.

Where there's oil, there's money and you can't make the public hate money more than they hate killing. People LOVE money and dislike killing only a little bit. Middle Eastern countries are sitting ducks. They need to wake up and smell the coffee or tea or whatever they drink to wake up.

Iran and Russia will variety a improved anti Israel alliance and convince different small mid east international locations to hitch them. Putin needs to re-create the Byzantine Empire. All eyes on Putin and Medevev.

It's called divide and conquer, those people in the Middle East have really done what they wanted to all along and that's spread our resources thin. As far as drilling goes, not drilling period is an even better option. But who cares, I know I want to suffocate when I walk outside at age 50. Thanks republicans, oil really is wonderful. He doesn't have to fight for oil in other places, because he's been in cahoots with the one country that controls most of the Middle East's oil...... Saudi Arabia. Believe it or not they're nso tight with the extreme Muslim nations, we'll probably never have an oil shortage problem there. Thanks to that hypocrite Bush, the true terrorism supporter.

One theory is that the invasion wasn't so much to gain access to Iraq's oil supplies, as to protect Saudi Arabia from possible invasion by Iraq. And we're allies with Saudi Arabia becaaaauuuuse ....

Are you listening to his speech now . That is exactly what he is saying now . those troops are going directly to the borders of Syria and , more importantly Iran . I'm sure after a few staged border incidents , those invasions you speak of are and will be inevitable .

Iran is able to defend itself, so is most of the other middle eastern countries. He is dumb but not that dumb. He at least knows that we can't land troops in that many directions at once.

We are already pinned down in Iraq and Afghanistan. Maybe we don't have the capability to open a third front.
