It is not alright but a person needs a bit of time alone to change roles from work and the commute to husband and dad. Suggest to him that when he comes home he should go to the bedroom, wash up and take 1/2 for himself before he sees the family. In turn, he then needs to be with the children so you can have time for a bath or shower before becoming mom and wife again. Don't know how old your children are but if over 5 they should set the table and visit with Dad while you have your "alone" time. This will make the evening meal a more enjoyable time for all.

It isn"t OK for him / her to come home and snipe. Ask yourself, is he normally a jerk? If this happens all the time, he has other issues, You just happen to be the one he has the guts to pick on....don't take another day of it!! Tell him to take up his issues with the one that has made him mad. Don't take it out on you or the family.

Its never okay for anybody to come home and take anything out on the person just because they're there! They better take their Monkey bread butt back to the cause of the problem and get the f*ck outta my face!

Do what I do when that happens to me, totally IGNORE him.
After several hours of that, he may come around. Don't get yourself upset, it's his problem, not yours. Men tend to act like children at times and I do believe that they really never growup!!!
Good Luck!

No, this is not right for anyone to do. It is hard for some to see this. To me, it's just downright wrong.
