Add 7n to both sides, giving:
30 < 10n
Divide both sides by 10, giving:
3 < n, the answer, which means that the solution set is all numbers greater than 3.

38-8=30, so
30 - 7n < 3n
Add 7n to both sides:
30 < 10n
Divide by 10:
33.

well, you need to move your variable to once side.
38-8=30
30-7n>3n
add 7n to both sides
30>10n
Divide both sides by 10 to get the variable alone
3>n
