I dont know that I would have. It was bad enough seeing it live on television. I dont know that I could look through a lens and film people jumping to their deaths. Although I do understand how people did it. It is much easier to hide behind the lens of a camera than to look such devastation head on.

I was in brooklyn that day and my co-worker bought a disposable camera. We were right across the river, so we were able to see the second plane hit, and saw both towers fall - its something i'll never forget. the worst part was watching all those fire engines going over the brooklyn bridge and later finding out that most of them didn't come back.
Americans and all free people should watch those towers fall everyday to remind us what we are up against.
Yes if i had a camcorder i would have used it.

I'm afraid I might not have even thought of filming...I'd would have been too scared to even think. I remember just hearing the reports on TV I was almost in shock. I can't even imagine being there that day.

they do no longer placed pause buttons on camcorder for one sturdy reason, examine on... via fact a Pause button will harm you inner recording mechanism, burn holes on your storage media and it is going on and on. they have a start up checklist button, pressing it as quickly as starts off recording, press it returned it stops recording. Press it a 0.33 time it starts off recording, starting to be a 2d report on the storage gadget. This why they created NLE (Non Linear modifying) courses. Take each and all the different clips you have recorded, placed them on the time line of the NLE and edit, and then create the DVD or report, which ever you desire. that's a sturdy thought, each time you're taking a video, constantly, on the commencing up danger thereafter. To circulate your video on your computing gadget, do no longer wait to fill the contents of your storage media, as that negative aspects corruption of the report and lots greater. So get on your strategies, shoot video, circulate ASAP

Lots of people DID.

Much of what the television news networks showed us was amateur video footage from tourist camcorders and even from video cell phones.
