I recently saw the movie 'Children of Men', and thought it was very thought-provoking. I didn't fully understand how its title was a fit for the movie. Does anyone who's seen the movie want to share their thoughts? Thanks!

Its getting good reviews-look up the info on yahoo movies. I think its based on a book too. Its a fairly upfront title-its a movie about the world where people have lost the ability to reproduce-have children. "Men" is just used as a referance to "mankind" as a whole.

The title refers to the human offspring. I find it an apt title as the movie's all about human race losing their reproductive ability in the near future and then rediscovering it one day!

Surely it refers to the fact that there are no Children being born to mankind. Without children of men the race will go extinct, no?

It means that the men act like they are little children on the inside but big tough men on the outside.
