NOT cats, or other small animals,or rodents... to be used as a training aid. Can't seem to find one on ebay? Any ideas? And NOT a shock collar type thing!!! Just a sound wave device.

No, not a dog whistle, I'm talking about something battery powered, about the size of half your palm..I've seen this somewhere..

Thanks lovemylab, but it's not barking I need to control, and it must not need a collar or affect cats or rodents.

Here ya go, Barker Breaker is one of them:

The Barker Breaker is handheld and isn't just used for barking. The name makes no sense to me either! Here's the specs on it:

Simple to Use: The Barker Breaker is a hand held all purpose trainer which emits a high pitch audible sound. Just press the red button and follow with a firm vocal command like "no barking" or "sit" or "no jumping". This procedure should be repeated as consistently as possible until dog is trained.

Humane and Effective: Unlike ultrasonics which are ineffective and shock collars which are inhumane, the barker breaker obtains immediate safe results.

Veterinary Tested and Approved:
Tested and approved by animal control specialists, animal behaviorists, veterinarians, and pet owners.

I have to say, I agree about the Barker Breaker. I have used it to train my beagle and it worked wonders. Not only for barking but also for sitting, laying, roll over, etc.

Sound waves are not that particular. Try a dog whistle but remember what you are looking for is not sound but telepathy. Sorry
