Lots of reasons, from an upper respiratory tract infection to a broken rib! see your doctor

If you're stumped because you're too young to go to the doctor without your mother: car, insurance, payment, etc., go to the school nurse and try to have a serious talk, not a quick "go lie down for 10 minutes and then I have to call your mother to pick you up". Or see a trusted teacher or a guidance counselor. Despite your mother's love and best intentions, this may unfortunately fall under negligence and child abuse, and school personnel are bound by LAW to DO something. They can be very discrete and nice about it, but if they believe you, they will make it clear to your mother that she HAS to take you to the doctor, or someone else will (or they get in legal trouble). Good luck on all fronts, dear.

Ok first calm down. If youve been in any car accidents or a sport accident slipped or fallen you could and cracked a rib or broken one. If not GO TO A DOCTOR and get it checked out. You could be getting really sick like the flu or pnemonia or a really bad cold. But tell your mom you are really concerned and say i need to go to a doctor or a hospital. For now drink hot fluids and dont eat anything thats hard or just eat soft foods. If its in your thoat then take a glass of warm water and put salt in it. Gargle it and spit it out.
Just go to a doctor and they will figure it out
Get better!!!

Since you mentioned your mom I'm thinking you may be school aged. If so go and see your school nurse. The nurse can ask you some questions and get your mother to take the right action like getting you to the DR ASAP! I hope its nothing serious. Pls feel better soon.

stop wasting time asking questions and make an appointment with doctor first thing tomorrow.it could be something,it could be nothing, either way until you get a professional opinion and medical help you wont know. your mum should have made you do this when it began happening, even if just to put your mind at rest. take care.
