I will give the opinion of an NRI living in a neutral country. I believe that India has the better batting line-up by skill, but their players do not try hard enough. The only player in India really trying right now is Ganguly. Australia, however, has players who actually try which is why statistically they're playing better.

yeh they do they have got the most talented batting line up with the likes of Dravid, Tendulkar, Sehwag and Ganguly but they are incosistent unlike Australia. Australia can have scores like 350, 330 in a test match whereas India will have 450, 150

I have to disagree with you. Do you remember what happened to India at the last World Cup final against Australia in 2003? Australia scored 2-359 (their second highest ever in ODI history). India could only reply with 234.

Seeing Aus demolish Eng in the latest 20-20 game.. I have serious doubts. Maybe India is better in the nets !!! Or perhaps if you define better batting line in terms of super heros status that one receives in the country...

NO WAY, who do India have? Sehwag (ahem...), Ganguly (no comments required), Dravid (ok, he RULES), well, you know how it goes.
Australia has an awesome lineup in both tests and one dayers.
I went for the Adelaide test. If you see the hopelessness of even England compared to the Aussies,...
How could you think of such a comparison?
I support India, but come on,

i think the same buddy, but we Indians can't play as a team, every1 is behind their own records. and that's the reason our record is becoming worst day by day. but India have the best batting line up in the world
