With the troops occupied in Iraq and with the fact that 15% of Americans and rising are below the poverty line, and 10% of Americans hold 90% of the wealth, is the time ripe for a Marxist revolt.

nope! won't happen. we have been in this "ripe" stage many a times in history....not the first time nor the last. the u.s.a. will fall like rome did, from the outside and not from the inside.... hopefully we last as long as they did, though.

That would be a very bad idea.

It is funny that the poorest Americans are significantly better off than the average person in one of the old communist regimes.

I also find it funny that in a communist system where the leaders supposedly represent the people they do not allow free elections but in America where the means of production are owned by the bourgeois imperialists the people freely elect their leaders.

I guess freedom works for everyone except for power hungry dictators.

You say you want a revolution. Well, you know...we all want to change the world. You tell me it's the institution. Well, it is, but once George W Bush is gone there will be no more need for talk of revolt of any kind.
