What the heck?!?! Someone has some issues that stem a little deeper than television. Why don't you grow up and become president or at least someone who can make a difference instead of bitchin' about it?

I really don't know what your point is. Every show you mentioned has black people on it at one time or another. Get over feeling sorry for yourself because you are black. It should be an equal world. People as a whole have moved forward and don't view the world in color, we view all as one. The gay people have the LOGO channel now and a few shows on BRAVO. The black people are the ones that want to stand out. There's the Miss Black America, Mrs. Black America, The next Black pop star ...so on and so on. If Whites had a Miss White America they would catch tee total H-ll over it. So get over it and I'm sure you will be a much happier person.

Don't see why this matters, we are all equal.

But...Some of the shows you listed are not just whites.

For starters...CSI. The original Warrick. Miami has Eric(who is Hispanic). NY has Sheldon Hawkes.

Let's see..lots of other CBS shows aren't just whites. WaT has a Cuban, Criminal Minds has an African American....these are just a few!

VH1. Umm...ok, then what's Beyonce'. Ciara . P. Diddy. Usher. Jay-Z. Should I continue? *this could go on all night*

Are you forgetting some of the best shows? Fresh Prince, Cosby, Family Matters, Good Times, A Different World, Jefferson's, Stanford and Son...(here again, the list goes on and on)

Oh and as far as Disney. Raven has a nice tan, for a white girl. SO does her whole family. Nice!

And where's the College Fund for white kids? There wasn't one last time I checked.

Sorry dear, but none of us complain about that. I'm not racist in the slightest bit, just proving a point.

My skin color makes me no better than you, visa-verse. Just don't complain about something that isn't there.

Yeah man, why do only the skinny people get TV shows? There are hardly any TV shows with fat people on them. Bring on the FAT-TV!

Gimme a break! I can't argue that whites dominate the shows on TV, but some of your examples are just not good. Will & Grace? Gay! Dancing With The Stars had three black cast members this season and a black man won! Hereos is one of the most diverse casts on all of TV. CW? Come on! Tyra, Girlfriends, The Game, etc. You conveniently left off your list one of the most successful sitcoms of all time - The Cosby Show. You also forgot to mention the queen of talk shows and all other things - Oprah!

Come on, get that chip off your shoulder so you can look around and see that things are changing and getting better. We may not be there yet, but we are trying and we need to work together to make it better instead of blaming each other.

One final note -- you want to know who is really underrepresented on TV? Christians and individuals with wholesome family values especially young adults and singles.

Peace!

I prefer to watch quality shows without regard to color. Are you telling me you'll watch "Saved By the Bell" or "Sweet Valley High" over "Everybody Hates Chris" or the multi-hued "Grey's Anatomy"? And how well can you see the television anyway with that pointy hood over your head?

P.S. - Wasn't the winner on "Dancing with the Stars" a very dark shade of white?

so are you saying only white people watch the shows and stations you listed?
I still have yet to get a native american channel so I guess i could hold a grudge against white tv and black tv and asian.etc but I chose to get over it and live life.

No, we aren't oblivious to this. What can we do about it though. The minorities will have to do something. If we did, then WE would still be in control. Maybe there are more of us than them. Who knows. Maybe that's why they are called minorities???
