Or did you vote for Democrats expecting them to give BS excuses about why they have to support the war in Iraq though they don't believe in it?

I did ask a narrow slanted question because I don't need to hear about everything you want to talk about in this question. So I will ignore those answers which diverge from my original question, unless they tell me something very inciteful. Ranting just doesn't do it for me.

I voted for democrats because i'm tired of watching the world fall down around me because the Republicans have chosen to ruin it. No Child Left Behind is great in theory, if it were to actually be funded. They have handed money to big business and snubbed the working man and the middle class, those fat cats have since retired with their money and haven't even attempted to try to help any of the working men with the money they received from their big tax cuts. Not even with charity....I don't know how they were raised, but I was raised to help anyone I can, because I was not put on this earth to be selfish. But then again, this is the caring moral majority we all know and love. Thank god the Democrats are getting a chance to clean up their mess, because we certainly need it. By the way, they've never given a BS reason why they have to support the war, they have, however, pointed out the only reason they keep giving money to Bush for the war, and that's to help those poor troops get the armor they need, the food that they require, etc.

I voted for the Democrats because I feel we need a serious change, not only in the war, but in the way the government is spending our tax dollars, in how our health care system is being handled, and in the recent scandals. The scandals may continue even with the change, because Washington seams to be drowning in dishonesty from both sides of the isle, but this may shake things up a bit.

Neither. You are way off course. I voted for democrats because having one party in control of all three sections of government (Congress/Senate/President) is not a democracy. Its one step away from a dictatorship. Anyone who thinks its good for either party - be it democrat or republican to control every aspect of the government as the republicans did for years must want to live in a dictatorship.
Your question was about as shallow as if i had said did you vote for Bush because you think he is Jesus Christ or that Jesus talks to him.
Silly, plain silly question.

Iraq, while an issue... wasn't my major motivator... and I think that they will press to close out the Iraq situation...

but, I was voting a lot on other platform issues as well... like all the things that they have been doing...

Many are so short-sighed and want to stop Iraq war before the job is done. It is better not to start war at all than to terminate in inappropriate time. Let the experts in Pentagon decide military matters. If we are not military strategists, let us keep our mouths shut. Or we would be ashamed for the words uttered.

Niether. I voted for Democrats because of Mr Bush and his War.
I saw the November 7th elections as a chance to vote in a referendum. I can't see ever voting for a Republican. I wanted to see the House and Senate change. I wanted accountability.

No, I voted for republicans, who got elected in Florida.

The people who voted for the conservative democrats did so because congress has not done very much in the past, and they were demanding a change (rightfully so).

Unfortunately, that change will end up being more than most people bargained for. it won't be long before the devil shows its horns.
