Why do they say that Wars are good for the economy??

It has traditionally been true as long as the war wasn't on your soil and as long as you win. But it isn't overall true. It was true for the US in 1910's. 40's and 70's, but looks less so in this Milena.

It forces government to pump significant money into the economy. US governments might think twice about a little into health care or social services to help its people. But immediately dumps trillions into a war cause. Thus, boosting employment through troops and factory workers, and making companies rich who have an instant market they didn't have before. It's a cash injection the economy needs to revive it.
