I know it would not stop everyone but if they had to keep getting accounts to report it would slow them down!

Yes they should have a graduted reporting system.
Each level a user passes they can make only a certain number of reports. If a report is not found to be legit, the reporter should be fined points.
Which wouldnt stop the reporting trolls, but then again level 1 or 2 accounts shouldnt be allowed to report anyway.
If they find actual abuse they can be directed to post a link in the answers forum.

Now that sounds logical. Unfortunately, it seems yahoo could care less. Some people are reporting answers or questions that are not bad, vulgar, etc. Intolerant people cannot handle someone elses views.
You're right, it wouldn't stop them but it might slow them down. Although those little pests are persistant.
I have been letting yahoo know though. They get a reply from me every time I get one. Do they read them? Probably not, if they did, they would take care it quicker.

That's a great idea. I am not on here much anymore because I am sick of signing on just to lose 50 points. It's not about the points. It's about the dumbass people reporting me.

And maybe it should. If someone has a personal vendetta this can be a pain to deal with. Yes, Yahoo should limit reporting to VALID complaints.

Damn good idea! Especially for those who go around reporting people just for fun. And I also think that they should have a green tag below them like the staff do only itnstead of saying "staff" ithe oversensitive babies should have "OVERSENSITIVE IDIOT" so that their questions/answers can be put into perspective.

like I answered someone earlier,when you get a report or violation notice and e-mail,state your complaint and the reason why,and reply back to Q&A,go down fighting,and I have seen some reporting nazis get bitten so I believe
