Wind beneath my wings-the original is done by country singer Lee Greenwood and the most recent was done by Bette Midler for the movie Beaches.You have excellent taste in music! That song is beautiful!

Indeed, Bette Midler had the hit version of "Wind Beneath My Wings", from her movie "Beaches", but if you get the chance to find the version by Australian singer Colleen Hewett (it's from the 80's), you will not be disappointed. Colleen is a great singer (recently toured Australia with Hugh Jackman in The Boy From Oz).

Sheena Easton and Roger Whittaker both released versions of the song in 1982, though neither had a hit with it. The song hit various U.S. charts the following year in versions by Gary Morris, Gladys Knight & the Pips and Lou Rawls.
(I have the Gary Morris and Lee Greenwood versions...I like Morris' better)
