You need to get a job - even if it's as a volunteer, in those settings.
Volunteering at a hospital or working as a receptionist in a doctor's office might be all you need to know that you love it. Or hate it. It's just as important to find out what you can't stand as it is to know what you love. It eliminates a lot of stuff!
I'm not sure how you would get experience in the fashion field unless you're in NY City. But you don't say what you like in fashion - design, maybe you'd like to be a buyer.
I've linked a few things for you to look at with regard to fashion careers.
Have fun exploring careers!

Since you can't decide right at this point in time, try taking an online personality/career assessment.
Just type in your search bar: free online personality/career assessments. You'll have your choice of thousands. Pick one or two or three, take them, check the answers, and one should give you an idea of what to be when you grow up--no sarcasm intended.
I was 40 before I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, and the tests helped me narrow down my choice.
But definately pick a career that you will enjoy doing.
Confusius said: Pick a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life. How true.
I'd also check out www.lmi.(your state initials).gov (there is so much info on this site to help you out, search around a little on it) to find out the pay for each job, in case money drives you.
Good luck in finding your love. Peace.

Damn girl, those are some very different things. Well I chose what I wanted to do by finding a profession that is the closest related to my passion. Or you could think of your favorite school subject. Or maybe something that has to do with your personality. EX: you are argumentative but persuasive.=lawyer. You must also look at other things such as what will you enjoy studying. And as crappy as it seems you need to choose an occupation that will keep you financially comfortable. Hope this helps you!!!

Check at your local college for a class called 'Career Skills Degree Program.' Or a class relating to that subject, it'll help you decide your desired profession. You'll take different and fun tests to see what your stronger areas are, and things that you want to do. These kinds of classes are not that long. I hope this helps. Take care and enjoy !!!!

Which of the two fields are You best qualified to pursue? Are You artistic or altruistic? The path You take can only be chosen by one person, and that is not someone else other than You.

it depends on what you wanna accomplish in life
if you want money, power, fame, and pretty much everything else which comes w/ success than go into medicine or law.
if you dont wanna work as hard and you're totally fine with an average life style, look for a career that best suits your interests.
