I have a Toshiba satellite A10
I do not know where BIOS is
I want to do it myself

Can somebody please help?

You can disable HT in the BIOS.

Usually you can do this by hitting delete on startup or one of the function keys.

This is for the 3 that gave me the "thumbs down"

I don't know who was thumbs downing the last guy, he is right, HyperThreading can be disabled in the BIOS, when you first restart your computer, it should say very briefly what button to push to go into BIOS, or setup as it might be called.

the ability of hyperthreading is a fix built in feature of the Intel Pentium processors. you can't disable it.

oops, i was wrong
inoa05 is correct, it's indeed possible to disable hyperthreading in BIOS in Advanced Settings, i've just checked it.
