Devotional statues are ANY sculpted representation of any size or material. It may be of a person , a word, a symbol, animal (natural or mythical), or object used in a religious context in order to incite or focus devotion. regardless of the religion. Think a Menorah, a cross, a saint, a lamb, a word or set of words, a mandala, "the Golden Calf:" of Biblical fame, a statue of "Pharaoh", A goddess, Apollo, a Creche etc.etc.etc

Those small statues you see in peoples yards, usually a saint or the Virgin Mary.
