They cannot. They are too genetically distant to be able to interbreed, even if they tried. One of the reasons is that their "intromittent organ" is different. Dog penises are smooth, but cat penises have tiny barbs near the tip. These tiny barbs cause pain in the female when they withdraw. This pain, in turn, stimulates ovulation, giving a greater chance of fertilization.

Dogs and cats each produce litters but dogs and cats cannot interbreed, if that is what you are asking. They are two distinctly different species of animals.

no, they're just too different. is everything ok upstairs, or have you seen a dog and a cat copulating, cos that does happen (why?)
