I think it's better if you put peanut butter evenly on both breads and then put in the jelly.

I put strawberry jelly on the first slice of bread and layer it on thick. I do the jelly first because it's easy to rinse the knife back off before putting on the peanut butter. I use a knife because it's nearly impossible to put the peanut butter off with a spoon and I don't want to dirty 2 different utensils just to make a stupid PB&J sandwich (see, it's well thought out). After I rinse the knife I put the peanut butter on the second slice of bread about half as thick as the jelly so as not to overpower the flavor of the jelly and to get that "oh-so-exact" balance of flavoring. Then I cut it in half, because it just tastes better that way and then curse as the jelly squirts out on my fingers. I eat it and then get irritated at the mess I've made on the front of my shirt and swear off PB&J sandwiches for at least another day.
The End.

Personally, I enjoy slightly more jelly than peanut butter and never chunky PB. However you like it, always very important to remember the bread coverage rule. That is you must always spread both sides completly to the ends so that every bite is complete. Don't over spread however, otherwise it will just cause messy edges when you pick it up. Lastly, always cut sandwich in half.

Real Crunchy Peanut Butter, Jelly with less sugar and whole grain bread or Chunky Peanut Butter and Banna's sliced up or Chunky Peanut Butter and Honey.
I like President's Choice or the kind you get from the Health food store.
I don't really care for the advertised brands that mostly contain icing sugar in them. I like the fact that here in Canada they have to list their ingrediences on the labels when it comes to foods and cosmetics.
I don't know how much they do that in the States? I think all countries should list their food ingrediences that way you can know what you are eating.

Peanut butter on one side, Jelly on the other slice of bread. I used to put peanut butter in a bowl, add jelly and stir it up, then spread it on the bread.

One side of the bread (or toast is even better) with peanut butter (Skippy, either smooth or chunky). The other side with lots of jelly, grape or raspberry. I cut it into four squares so I can take bites from the middle outward to prevent the jelly oozing out.

That depends on my mood. Strawberry when I'm feeling experimental, but usually I just do the standard grape jelly on one side, and creamy all natural peanut butter on the other side. Greatest food in the world.
