For most events, small, instamatic cameras will be permissible. Digital cameras, or cameras with professional lenses, will not be permitted. Recording devices, whether audio or visual, are not permitted within the arena. So, what kind of camera would be considered instamatic?

they probably only want the one time use cameras,or good old fashioned 35mm film ones...most places allow digital ones but do not allow ones that can use different lenses...they say no digital ones now also because they can record video but its not like you could record the entire show...what show are you going to see

I think they mean a regular camera that takes pictures using just film. Probably one of those disposable cameras would be perfect. (Just make sure it's not a digital one.)
