not to be cocky but i can catch anything thrown to me, but i dont want to be a wr, instead i like to make the picks and lay it on the wrs. but my size kept me off the team. Im 15 and im 511 so i have pretty decent height for my age and i still havent had my growth spurt. i weigh only 125 to that height though. I have the height, but even though i can make the big hits, i know I dont have the strength to take one from a back that makes it in to the secondary. I need a good work out routine to help me make it.

I had a similar problem when i was in high school. The difference is i was a lineman. I was a blocking machine, i could block anything that came my way. I was best in the region and made all state by the end. That was not what my mane goals were. I liked to tackle but i wasn't that good in pop warner at reading plays. I liked defense more but was better at blocking. when i was a freshman i wasn't able to start on defense because i still wasn't as good as others. I spent the whole season watching my position carefully and lifting like crazy. In my mind i had to prove i was good enough to play both ways. The next year i started and did well. By the time i was a junior and a Senior the other teams refused to run the ball to my side when they did people got hurt. my senior year in one game i had injured 2 starting running backs and the starting QB. that was the first game of the season. when the other teams looked at that tape they never ran it to my side hardly again. The thing about this is that i to was undersized at 220 for a DT. What u do is follow the bigger faster stronger programs, don't take no for an answer, and when u do finally get your chance make it count because all you really need is one game and you can establish yourself for the rest of the season.

You need a good CB partner to keep your side of the field cleaned up, work together, switch assignments, lay the wood to to anyone who comes over there on your side ! High / Low hits so they do not want to come back over ! The whole deal, be good enough and hit hard enough, they sweep and throw to the other side, afraid of you, scouts say "stay away from your side."

Weight or no weight, you'll get plenty of weight program before college is all over, meanwhile let's hear those pads pop !
