I don't know where you live, but I know where I live, someone on probation is prohibited by living with someone who has drugs, or drinks.
If you know for a fact that there is drug usage and drinking in the home rather the person on probation is doing it or not, you actually can turn them in to the probation office for violation.
Alot of people are too afraid to take these actions, but I believe that there is a way that you can take these actions without having to give your name out.
I would seriously consider turning them in since people complain of the situation, yet, they don't do anything about it.

I do not use drugs, but unless they are dealing or harrassing neighbors, you need to live and let live. You probably have other drug addicts and just don't know it. WHITE females who work every day, seem okay make up a major population of drug addicts, they just don't look like what you think a drug addict should.
Her disease can't be cought, have compassion, it makes the world better. If you have children, you tell them, that they are not to do more then say hi to the neighbors, but because the neighbors are making poor choices you are not to go around them.
But it sounds to me like you are more worried about looks and your own property, then being compassionate to those who are having problems. I've lived in neighborhoods were there were many problems, drugs, prostitution, so I understand not wanting your property value to go down. Their living there will not cause that unless they are dealing form the home, having a lot of druggies coming and going. If this is the case get together with the police who patrol your area and have them keep an eye on this house, so they can arrest them if they are actually committing a crime.
Her disease does not require a nursing home, so whomever said that was lying. If her doctor said that, he was just trying to control her.
Kindness if violence isn't going on with these neighbors, can do miracles to change people. I've seen it happen myself in areas whee I lived. When the people doing drugs were shown kidness, without acceptance of their drug addictions etc., many chose to change. Hostilities towards such people will only bring on more violence.
Use the law where possible to have them arrested if they are actually doing drugs. Make sure you know it as a fact, as people have a way of assumming things and passing on their assumptions as facts. Just becuase someone appears stoned, doesn't mean they are, many drugs for various diseases can leave a person appearing to be on drugs, illegal drugs, who actually isn't.
If you know there is drug dealing, then my best suggestion is for everyone who knows this in the neighborhood to get together with the police officers who are assigned to patrol your area and talk about what you all see going on. They can watch for criminal activity and arrest those involved; if they are dealing out of the home and the cops can prove it, then if they don't own the home, then you all can take whatever evidence the police find to court and use it to have them given a notice of eviction. But you have to have proof from the police. NOT just people saying it's going on.
I have lived places where people assumed I was on drugs or doing something illegal, all becuase I'm only 41, I'm home becuase of a disability and they think I look okay, so the only way I could not be working is if I were on drugs. I let them believe their own ignorance, those who are not ignorant ask me instead of assuming why I don't have to work. SO be careful if you all are just assuming she's on drugs.

.Is she contagious? maybe there is something else IN her blood that might be putting the children in harms way. The police, she must still be doing drugs if she still breaks out. health dept. mental health, hire a hit man. hahaha Talk to her doctor. I just read the answers above me, wow i am in the minority.Live and let live. And the value of real estate that i have paid into for years is very important to me. All the women with the drug habit has paid into is herself. She has no where to go, no home- no children? no family? No I guess not, she needs the charity of an alcoholic old man to stay off the streets. With that disease probably could not even support herself on the street. And I do not believe in karma.

I would just let nature take it's course. They will crash and burn and probably have their home taken away. The drunk will probably we around for a long time - drunks that old tend to be pickled. I'm sorry for your troubles...if the house is a rental then I'd get up a petition to have the landlord put them out after the lease is up. I wouldn't go making any waves with trying to call the cops that they are breaking the law with their drug use or driving on a suspended (danger wins out, of course), but we all break little laws at some point and you don't want karma coming back and biting you in the ***.

Property is valued on many issues, non of which have anything whatsoever to do with neighbors alcoholism nor drug abuse. You mentioned nothing about the condition of the home. If you don't like them or what they personally do, stay away from them. Why do you wish to infer harm upon 2 human beings who are obviously, in your opinion, already lost. Guess they should be put out onto the street. Sounds like alot of idle gossip to me. Poor suffering woman, if you think it's disgusting, how painful do you think it must be. Show some compassion and try to find a positive solution, not cause more harm upon your neighbors. Ever hear "love thy neighbor", seems to me I've read something written by you about Jesus!

How is it changing your property value?
I took real estate and having troublesome neighbors will not depreciate the true value of your home unless there is a high crime rate there....unless they are running around naked and yelling and screaming the cops come nightly there is not much you can do I am sorry.

Think about changing your view on this problem.
This woman needs help.. she is dieing, right? Why don't you,if you can ,contact a member of her Family? No? How about contacting the police in your town,I'm pretty sure they must know the situation there. Explain to them if you have it in you, your concern for the person.Try other avenues, anyone that can help her.
YOU ARE ONLY CONCERNED ABOUT YOUR PROPERTY VALUE? please, find it in your heart , help her. You may need a loving person to help you some day.
It can happen to anyone. Please help her. she doesn't know what she is doing ; she has no control over herself.

Yeah, that's usually one of the first things I check for when looking to buy a property- Do any of the neighbors have any made up diseases... I think you should probably find a hobby, myself.

You can't force these people to move, no matter how digusting you think they may be. If you have proof that there are drugs or anything illegal in their home you can, however, call the police.
