When he "practices" the wake up song late at night to make sure he will be able to wake up Bert in the morning. But, of course it wakes him up, while Ernie falls asleep.

when they camp out, Ernie can't sleep & wake up Bert, questions him about the stars up in the night sky.

well if bert is anything like myself...then the most annoying thing would be the singing of the rubber duckie song. cuz seriously, who can get that song outa their head....'rubber duckie youre the one, you make bathtime so much fun.....' uuuuhhhhhhggggg
