Awe, this is cute.
Instead of dropping a hint, when you're walking down a hall, or somewhere, just slide your hand into his.
Its not like he's going to pull his hand away. He likes you.
Showing him that you're into him that way will more than likely get him to open up and make moves he's probably just as nervous about.

That is so cute!! But don't rush things. Do nice things for him and make him feel special by giving him a sweet or something small that tells him that he is special to you. Do not force things on him because that will only scare him away. Just booze is hugo and make him feel like the man that needs to hunt you. Always let them try their best to get you, because that will also make them feel good on the end of the day when you finely give in.

Don't be so shy around him. Be more outgoing when he's around. When you see him at school, on a date or somewhere, just slide your hand into his and start talking. He won't run away or feel akward. Just start talking and you'll both feel comfortable.
