I'm Korean. I have a BA and a MA on English Education in Korea. I like children. I want to be a preschool teacher or a kindergarten teacher in CA. Do I need to take CBEST? If so, what is the best textbook for studying CBEST?

If you plan on teaching preschool than the answer is no. You are qualified to not only teach preschool but to be the head teacher. The only thing holding you back from that would be actual experience.

I'm not too sure sbout kindergarten but I think you may have to . There are a bunch of guides that will help you with the CBest but if I were you I would contact the Board of Education where you plan on teaching and find out if it's neccesary.

Doesn't subject. You want the ones rankings to get right into a Credential Program, nevertheless no service provider will ever ask you to your rankings. No software will be given you with out the CBEST and now CSET. YOU PASSED that is it.
