I would like some serious answers about show business and what they are looking for, no anti-tall crap pleez thank u.

No, you can never be too short or too tall. All agencies, talent scouts, movie producers, etc... are looking for is raw talent.

I use to date a beauty queen years ago and she was about 5'9. She also did some acting bits and many of her female friends were also pursuing some careers in the limelight, such as acting,modeling,singing,etc and most of them I can recall being about the same heigth. I remember once we talked about the industry (modeling) and many of her friends did mention that most agencies prefer the women to be between 5'8 -6'4 You should call a talent agency, better yet try out for an audition and get their professional opinion. Personally, I think when you're tall and slender (not bony) it helps to your sex appeal. I'm sure the agencies know what is in the market right now. There are some things that will never change in the industry and heigth is definately one of them.

If you are acting in a movie with Tom Cruise, then yes...six feet is too tall.

There are plenty of tall actresses out there. Nicole Kidman is pretty tall, I think at least 5'10".

Geena Davis is 6', and she has an Oscar. Height doesn't matter. However, it takes more than being tall to act.

i don't think so. but i think that for a model, that's perfect! you want to be tall!
