keturah, i didn't know that about her husband., WOW, what a woman with heart. Like another poster said, I hope she had a wonderful life.

Yes. She was a beautiful lady, and she also did a lot of Western films... She had a good heart. Her husband was the stuntman who lost both legs in the filming of "How the West Was Won" (in the scene with the train wreck), and she went back to work after that. I'm not positive, but I believe that's when she took the role as Lilly Munster, to help pay for all the medical expenses. She was a class act through and through.

Yes it is sad she was a great actress and very classy~~ It was also sad when Herman Died~~ The Munsters was on before my time but I loved the show used to watch it all the time~~ RIP Lilly and Herman~~

I loved Yvonne De Carlo as Lilly. "The Munsters" remain one of my all-time favorite shows. Yes, she was certainly a beautiful woman and talented actress. RIP, Lilly!

I did not know anything about her until after her death.
Amazing that all it takes is one tv show or movie to make you remembered forever. The Munsters was for her. I hope she had a great life.
