After clicking on join a message appears briefly
"attempting to pop up table window" then disappears and I cannot sit at a table. I have no trouble playing Yahoo hearts.

Hi Dolly. It's something Yahoo did and it's a pain in the ^$$. Go into a Literati room. Go to options at bottom left of screen.
Click on make appear smaller.
You will now be able to play, however you'll be playing with a tiny game and tiles. This really helped me break my addiction, but at least I can play if I want to. Best to you.

Welll, it's real easy. Yahoo games come up in popup windows, so you have to allow popups. So, go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy tab, Settings button next to Popup Blocker. Where it says “Address of Website to Allow”, type or paste in:
http://www.games.yahoo.com/
then click Add. Now, you should be able to play. Have fun!
