I'd say HP but Compaq is just a cheaper version of an HP. They're both fine computers but it's like Toyota is a Compaq, HP is a Lexus sorta thing.

HP and Compaq are the same now, since HP bought Compaq (or merged as they say).
I wouldn't buy neither personnaly.
But if you have to, go for the HP brand they look better than the compaqs.

Compac are made by HP, build one out of seperate components you get better value for money

HP and Compaq are made by the same company. HP actually makes Compaq.

from what i can tell Ur asking between an HP computer and a Compac computer. well i would prefer the compact one. they usually have better parts and look better 2. =)
