The world really is connected.
We are only separated by 6 degrees.
There has been studies done to prove this that each of us is connected through six different people.
It's just a matter of finding the right six.
Mr X you have never met is here and you are there not knowing of each other but....
Your uncle knows a guy in blah blah who knows a woman with a niece in such and such who knows a man living nest door to so & so.
So & so next door is the final link between you and Mr X.
Thus you are connected to Mr X through six other people.

It used to be! Before man walked the eartch there was a "super contanint" call Pangia. All the contanints were connected. After a LONG time Pangia broke into pieces. So we were connected at one time, and we might again in the future.

Bill Hicks stated it this way......

"Today, a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration … that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively. There's no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves. Here's Tom with the weather."

It is! The world is flat. With the www and the technology available readily. We can now 'see' and talk to almost anyone, even if they are thousands of miles away. Only that many of us are not aware of it and not using it to the best of our advantage.

The world IS all connected.

I like to think of it like this. We and everything around us is energy in one form or another. We are like a giant ocean. So how do you tell when one droplet of water ends and another one begins? Your right, you can't.

Our earth has a delicate balance that we humans seem to be slowly destroying.

Way long ago it was connected. (Before the super-continent known as Pangea). There would still be oceans though because the oceans are way bigger than the continents. It's all about the continental drift.
